Artistic Process:

The artistic process: 

drawing an image with consideration for the process, 

transferring the image to a block,

carving the block to create a relief pattern, 

inking the carved block with a brayer (I use oil based inks for a smoother finish), and

stamping the block onto smooth paper with firm and even pressure. 

The drying process can take up to two weeks.
